Q: How do I connect the modem cable on the Gateway M675 notebook?

A:
  1. Insert one end of the modem cable into the Modem jack on the back of the notebook or optional port replicator.

  2. Insert the other end of the modem cable into a telephone wall jack. The modem does not work with digital or PBX telephone lines.

  3. Start the computer, and then start your communications software.
