Component Icon Description
A. Right-side modular bay release latch Modular icon Slide to release the right modular drive.
B. Docking port   Connect the port replicator to this port.

Warning! Power is passed through this port. This docking connection is UL certified for use only with port replicators designed for this Gateway computer.
C. Memory bay   Open this cover to install or replace memory modules.
D. Battery release latch Battery icon Slide to release the right modular drive.
E. Battery bay Battery icon Install the main battery in this bay.
F. Hard drive bay Hard drive icon Install the main hard drive in this bay.
G. Left-side modular bay release latch Modular icon Slide to release the left modular drive.
H. Hardware reset hole Reset icon Insert a straightened paper clip into this hole to manually restart the notebook.
