- With the Microsoft® Windows® operating system started, place the Gateway Applications, Drivers, and Operating System DVD in the ROM drive, and then close the tray. In the Restore Wizard dialog box, click Repair Applications and Drivers, and then click Next.

- If this is your first time using the CD, read the End User License Agreement, select Yes I accept it, and then click Continue.

- The browser opens to the Drivers and Application Recovery tab. Select Automatic Installation.

- Select the Conexant AMC Audio Driver check box, and then click Install.

- In the Automatic Install dialog box, click OK.

- Files copy, and the Gateway Application Loader screen appears with a notice to not press any keys or buttons during this process.
- On the Gateway Application Loader screen, click OK.
