| B. Universal Serial Bus ports (USB port) |

Plug USB devices (such as a floppy disk drive, flash drive, printer, scanner, camera, keyboard, or mouse) into these ports. Version 2.0 ports. There are three USB ports on the left side and one on the right side of this notebook.

| C. IEEE 1394 port (Optional) |

Plug an IEEE 1394 (FireWire® or i.LINK®) device (such as a digital camcorder) into this optional 4-pin IEEE 1394 port. |
| D. Memory card reader (Optional) |
|
Insert a memory card from a digital camera, MP3 player, PDA, or cellular telephone into the optional memory card reader. The memory card reader supports
Memory Stick®, Memory Stick® Pro, MultiMediaCard, and Secure Digital cards.
Note: This notebook ships with a protector in the media slot. To protect the open slot, replace this protector when the media reader is not in use.

Release the eject button by pressing the eject button once. Press again to release the card.
Note: Unless using the PC eject button to remove a card, verify that the eject button is not extended. A protruding ejector button may be damaged when moving or transporting your notebook.
