- With the Microsoft® Windows® operating system started, place the Gateway Driver and Application Recovery CD in the ROM drive, and then close the tray. If this is your first time using the CD, read the End User License Agreement, select Yes I accept it, and then click Continue.

- The browser opens to the Drivers and Application Recovery tab. Select Automatic Installation.

- Select the Intel® 82852/82855 GM/GME Graphics Driver check box, and then click Install.

- In the Automatic Install dialog box, click OK.

- Files copy, and the Gateway Application Loader screen appears with a notice to not press any keys or buttons during this process.
- On the Gateway Application Loader screen, click Close.
