Q: How do I change the touchpad settings on the Gateway M305CRV notebook?

A: Follow these steps to change your touchpad settings.

  1. Open Control Panel.

    • In Microsoft® Windows® XP, from the Start menu, click Control Panel. In Control Panel click Category View, and then click Printers and Other Hardware.
    • In Windows 2000, from the Start menu, point to Settings, and then click Control Panel.

  2. Double-click the Mouse icon.

  3. In the Mouse Properties dialog box, click the Device Settings tab, and then click Settings.

  4. To modify a touchpad setting, click the plus sign (+) in front of a setting, and then modify the setting.

  5. To assign a function to the rocker switch, click the plus sign (+) in front of Buttons, click the up or down button, and then click the action you want.

  6. To save the changes, click OK.
