Status indicators These are the status indicators on the rear of the Gateway® M275 Convertible Tablet Notebook. Status indicators inform you when a drive is being used or when a button has been pressed that affects how the keyboard is used.

Component Icon Description
A. Power indicator Power icon Shows the computer's power status.

  • LED on - Power is on.
  • LED blinking - Power is in Standby mode.
  • LED off - Power is off.
B. Battery charge indicator Battery icon The LED shows the battery activity and status.

  • LED blue - battery is fully charged.
  • LED purple - battery is charging.
  • LED blinking red - battery charge is very low.
  • LED solid red - battery is malfunctioning.

Note: This LED only lights up when your notebook is connected to AC power or the battery charge is very low.

C. Memory card reader Memory card reader icon The memory card reader is in use.
D. Disc drive Disc drive icon The DVD or combination DVD/CD-RW drive is in use.
E. Hard drive Hard drive icon The computer is accessing the hard drive.
