Frequently Asked Questions Q: Why does the video display on the Gateway 450ROG notebook look blurry?A: If you hve changed your screen resolution to anything other than the specified resolution of the LCD panel, the video display may look blurry or not as sharp as it is intended.
The screen resolution is dependant on the specifications of the LCD display panel. For example, the 15-inch LCD panel on the 450 Rogue has a specification of 1,400 × 1,050. Adjusting the resolution to anything other the 1,400 × 1,050 may cause the display to not look as sharp or look blurry.
Note: After a format and reload of the hard drive or reinstalling the video driver, the display resolution may default to a different display resolution other than what is specified for the LCD panel. Use the system specifications of the LCD display panel to adjust the settings appropriately.
