Frequently Asked Questions Show Part Numbers Q: Video issues and blue screen may be caused by BIOS 9C.25.00A: Gateway has disqualified the BIOS update version 9C.25.00 on the P-78 notebook series as this BIOS has been found to causes system instability. This BIOS update was originally posted on drivers and download site on April 26, 2010 and was later removed on May 31st. Gateway strongly encourages that any customer who has BIOS version 9C.25.00 installed on their P-78 notebook, downgrade the BIOS back to 9C.23.00.The 9C.23.00 BIOS version may be found on the Gateway drivers and download site. |
