  • Resistive film on panel for touch (finger input) capabilities
B. Microphone Microphone Record audio through this microphone. The built-in microphone is turned off while an external microphone is connected.
C. Ambient light sensor   Automatically adjusts the display brightness based on the available light.
D. Tablet control buttons  
  • OK button - OK - Performs the same action as the ENTER key on the keyboard.
  • Back button - Back - Performs the same action as the Back button in an Internet browser.
E. Fingerprint reader   Provides enhanced security.
F. Speakers   Provide audio output when headphones or amplified speakers are not plugged in.
G. Tablet control buttons  
  • Windows® security icon - Windows® security - Provides the same action as pressing CTRL+ALT+DELETE.
  • Screen rotation icon - Screen rotation - Rotate the display orientation.
  • Windows® Mobility Center icon - Windows Mobility Center or Windows Journal

    • In Windows Vista™ this button opens the Windows Mobility Center.

    • In Windows® XP this button opens Windows Journal.
      In Windows® XP you can program the Windows Journal button to perform an action other than opening Windows Journal.
  • Wireless icon - Wireless network - Turn the optional IEEE 802.11 wireless and Bluetooth on or off.
H. Power button Power button Press to turn the power on or off.
I. Status indicators   Inform you when a drive is in use or when a button has been pressed that affects how the keyboard is used.
