Q: How do I turn this notebook's optional Bluetooth on and off?A: For most notebooks, to enable your Bluetooth wireless, on your keyboard, press and hold the FN key, then press F6 key, and then release both keys. Repeat the sequence to turn Bluetooth off.
If your notebook has a wireless network switch, to enable Bluetooth slide the wireless network switch to the On position. When the wireless network switch is in the On position, you can press the Fn+F6 keys to turn Bluetooth on or off.
Note: The wireless network switch must be turned on for the wireless LAN and Bluetooth function keys to work (Fn+F2 for wireless and Fn+F6 for Bluetooth). If you have turned on the wireless network switch and then used a function key to disable one of the functions, the option selected remains until the wireless network switch is turned on and the function key is once again used to change the setting. For example; if you have turned on the wireless network switch to enable the wireless LAN and Bluetooth, and then used the Fn+F6 function to disable the just the Bluetooth option, even after turning the wireless switch off and then back on, the Fn+F6 function key must be used to enable the Bluetooth option again.
To determine if Bluetooth is enabled look in your systray. If you see this icon , then Bluetooth is enabled.
