Q: How do I turn this notebook's wireless on and off?

A: The wireless network switch located on the front of this notebook turns both the optional wireless LAN and optional Bluetooth on and off.

When the wireless network switch is in the On position, you can press the Fn+F2 keys to turn the optional IEEE 802.11 wireless network radio on or off.

Note: The switch must be turned on for the wireless LAN and Bluetooth function keys to work (Fn+F2 for wireless and Fn+F6 for Bluetooth). If you have turned on the wireless network switch and then used a function key to disable one of the functions, the option selected remains until the wireless network switch is turned on and the function key is once again used to change the setting. For example; if you have turned on the wireless network switch to enable the wireless LAN and Bluetooth, and then used the Fn+F6 function to disable the just the Bluetooth option, even after turning the wireless switch off and then back on, the Fn+F6 function key must be used to enable the Bluetooth option again.

Note: Not all notebooks have a network switch. If your notebook does not have a switch, to turn the wireless LAN on, press and hold the Fn key and then press the F2 key. Pressing the combination again turns the wireless off.

To turn the wireless Bluetooth on, press and hold the Fn key and then press the F6 key. Press the combination again to turn Bluetooth off.
