- Attach a monitor to DVI connector on the port replicator.
- Attach a monitor to VGA connector on the port replicator.
- Turn on the notebook, and then connect to the port replicator.
- Right-click on the Windows® XP desktop, and then click Graphics Properties.
- In the Display Devices dialog box, under Multiple Display, click Extended Desktop.
- From the drop down lists, select the Primary Device and Secondary Device.
Note: The device using the DVI Cable is listed as a Digital Display. The device using a VGA Cable is listed as Monitor. The Primary Device is always displayed on the left side.
- In the Confirm the Desktop Change dialog box, click OK.
- To adjust the digital display settings, click Display Settings, and then select your settings on the Digital Display tab.
- In the Confirm the Desktop Change dialog box, click OK.
- To adjust the monitor display settings, click the Monitor tab.
- In the Confirm the Desktop Change dialog box, click OK.
- To switch back to the single notebook display, click Display Devices, and then under Single Display, click Notebook.
- In the Confirm the Desktop Change dialog box, click OK.
