Keyboard Show Part Numbers Hide Part Numbers 1014328R, 1014329R, 1014335R

This keyboard is a full-size keyboard that functions the same as a desktop computer keyboard. Many of the keys have been assigned alternate functions, including shortcut keys for Windows®, and function keys for specific system operations.
You can attach an external keyboard to the computer using a USB port. You do not need to shut down the computer to connect a USB keyboard.

| A. Function keys/System keys |
Press the function keys labeled F1 to F12 to perform actions in programs. For example, pressing F1 may open help. Each program uses different function keys for different purposes. See the program documentation to learn more about the function key actions.
System keys are unique to your notebook and can be used to perform specific tasks. The System keys are identified by the image on the key. Press a System key in combination with the Fn key to perform a specific action.
Note: The wireless network switch must be turned on for the wireless LAN and Bluetooth function keys to work (Fn+F2 for wireless and Fn+F6 for Bluetooth). If you have turned the wireless network switch on and then used a function key to disable one of the functions, the option selected remains until the wireless network switch is turned on and the function key is once again used to change the setting. For example; if you have turned on the wireless network switch to enable the wireless LAN and Bluetooth, and then used the Fn+F6 function to disable the just the Bluetooth option, even after turning the wireless switch off and then back on, the Fn+F6 function key must be used to enable the Bluetooth option again.

| B. Navigation keys |
Press the navigation keys to move the cursor to the beginning of a line, to the end of a line, up the page, down the page, to the beginning of a document, or to the end of a document.

| C. Fn key |
Press the Fn key in combination with a colored System key to perform a specific action. |
| D. Windows key |
Press the Windows® key to open the Windows Start menu. This key can also be used in combination with other keys to open utilities. For example, press the Windows key in combination with the F key to open the Search utility. Press the Windows key in combination with the R key to open the Run utility. Press the Windows key in combination with the E key to open the Explorer utility. |
| E. Numeric keypad |
When the numeric keypad is turned on, these keys can be used to type numbers. To activate the numeric keypad press Fn + . When the keypad is activated, the Pad Lock status indicator is lit. Press the same keys again to turn off the numeric keypad. |
| F. Application key |
Press this key for quick access to shortcut menus and help assistants in Windows. |
| G. ARROW keys |
Press the ARROW keys to move the cursor up, down, right, or left. |
