IR receiver cable This is the external remote IR receiver and cable for the media card reader. The remote receiver provides for the IR signal sent from the remote control to be received in a location other than the media card reader, determined by the length of the cable. The IR receiver cable can be identified by the three black bands on the cable connector and the black receiver on the other end of the cable.

Connect the cable to the jack located on the back of the computer labeled IR Receiver.
