Installing an add-in card is a process consisting of seven procedures that must be done in sequence:

Prepare
for installation.

Remove
existing software (modem or sound card)

Remove
an existing card (if applicable).

Install
the new card.

the card software.

Install
any additional software (modem cards)

Customize
your card (graphics cards)
