BIOS protection jumper This is the BIOS Protection Jumper. If the jumper BIOS_WP is set as Lock ( Pin 1 and Pin 2 ) , the system BIOS is protected from being attacked by a serious virus, such as the CIH virus.

Note:You will be unable to flash the BIOS to the motherboard, when the system BIOS is protected.
