N - Front Panel Connector

Front panel connector The front panel connection consists of a 2 × 8 header. Pin 1 is the lower right pin (located closest to the battery) in the graphic.

The front panel connector controls the following:

  • Power/Sleep LED
  • On/Off switch
  • Hard disk drive activity LED

Note: Pin 14 is missing on the header and noted as a “key” in the following table. Use the following table to orient the pins with their corresponding function.
