CPU socket Gateway supports Intel® Pentium® 4 and Celeron® processors with a 400-megahertz (MHz), 533-MHz, or 800-MHz front side bus (FSB) in this mPGA478 processor socket.

Note: Reseating the processor on this motherboard is not recommended. Procedures for reseating the processor require that the heatsink be removed. The process to remove the heatsink is unreasonable and difficult to achieve, and the proper installation of the heatsink requires access to additional tools and parts (for example, a new thermal adhesive pad). In many situations, it may require the motherboard to be removed from the case to accomplish reseating the processor.
