In this graphic, the 2 × 8 front panel connector is at the bottom. Pin 1 is indicated by an arrow on the motherboard and is outlined in red on this graphic. Plug the front panel cable into this connector.

Directly to the right of the front panel header is a 2-pin SCSI hard drive activity LED connector. This connector allows an add-in SCSI controller application to use the same LED as the onboard front panel LED.
