Directly to the right of the front panel header is a 2-pin SCSI hard drive activity LED connector. This connector allows an add-in SCSI controller application to use the same LED as the onboard front panel LED.

The connector at the top of this graphic is the primary IDE connector.

Front Panel Connection with Wires This graphic shows the front panel connector with the cable attached.
A different cable is used in the Destination computer to allow a reset switch to be used.

Note: If the computer must be shut down during power-on self-test (POST), hold the switch in for at least four seconds.
