MIDI for CrystalWare Synth Driver - Restoration CD 15.0 to 15.4
- Insert the System Restoration Kit CD disc 1 into the CD-ROM drive. Close the browser if it opens automatically.
- Click Start, point to Settings, and then click Control Panel. In Control Panel, double-click the Multimedia icon.

- In the Multimedia Properties dialog box, click the Devices tab. On the Devices tab, click MIDI Devices and Instruments, and then click Add.
Note: The MIDI for Adisynth.dll is installed during the CODEC installation. Complete this installation for full capability.

- In the Add dialog box, click Unlisted or Updated Driver, and then click OK.

- In the Install Driver dialog box, type: e:\winnt40\audio\crystal\e1600\midi\ (where e is the drive letter of your CD-ROM drive). Click OK.

- In the Add Unlisted or Updated Driver dialog box, CrystalWave Synth is listed. Click OK.

- The driver is installed. In the System Settings Change dialog box, click Restart Now.

- After Windows restarts, the Control Panel is still displayed. Double-click the Multimedia icon.

- In the Multimedia Properties dialog box, click the Devices tab. On the Devices tab, double-click MIDI Devices and Instruments, and then double-click MIDI for Adisynth.dll.

- In the Adisynth.dll Properties dialog box, on the General tab, verify that the driver is enabled and functioning correctly. Click the tab to view the information that is located there. When finished, click OK.

- In the Multimedia Properties dialog box, on the Devices tab, double-click MIDI Devices and Instruments, and then double-click MIDI for CrystalWave Synth.

- In the CrystalWave Synth Properties dialog box, on the General tab, verify that the driver is enabled and functioning correctly. Click the tab to view the information that is located there. When finished, click OK.

- Close all open dialog boxes and Control Panel.
