Bus mastering driver installation (System Restoration CD 15.9 and later)

  1. Insert the System Restoration CD into the CD-ROM drive. Close the browser if it opens automatically.

  2. Click Start, and then click Run. In the Run dialog box, in the Open text box, type: d:\winnt40\busmastr\intel\setup.exe (where d is the drive letter of your CD-ROM drive). Click OK.

  3. In the Intel Ultra ATA Storage Driver 6.1 Setup dialog box, click Next.

  4. Click Yes to accept the terms of the license agreement.

  5. Click Next to accept the default destination location or click Browse to select another folder.

  6. Click Next to accept the default program folder or type a new folder name or select one in the Existing Folders list.

  7. Files are installed. Click Yes, I want to restart my computer now, and then click Finish.
