  1. Click Start, point to Settings, and then click Control Panel. In Control Panel, double-click the Display icon. In the Display Properties dialog box, click the Settings tab. On the Settings tab, click Display Type.

  2. In the Display Type dialog box, under Adapter Type, click Change.

  3. In the Install From Disk dialog box, click Browse. Locate the folder that contains the drivers (winnt40\display\8281x), and then click OK.

  4. In the Change Display dialog box, in the Display list, click Intel(R) Graphics Technology Device, and then click OK.

  5. In the Third-party Drivers dialog box, click Yes.

  6. Windows begins copying the files.

  7. In the Installing Driver dialog box, click OK.

  8. In the System Settings Change dialog box, click Yes to restart the computer.

  9. When the computer restarts, Windows may warn you that the display settings are incorrect. Click OK to clear this warning.

  10. Click Start, point to Settings, and then click Control Panel. In Control Panel, double-click the Display icon. In the Display Properties dialog box, make the desired changes, and then click Test. Verify that the test screen is correctly displayed. Click OK.
