A: The monitor supports component video at 1080p. Whether it displays at 1080p or not depends on the source. If the source is unable to output or support content protection at 1080p via component, the device falls back to 1080i (most movies have a limitation of 1080i and will not function at 1080p via component but can function at 1080p using HDMI). Devices such as the PS3 or XBOX 360 can output games at 1080p if the game supports it.
