Display settings The on-screen display (OSD) is a control system for adjusting the monitor's display.

When making adjustments to any of the options, the monitor's microprocessor automatically memorizes the adjustments made. Use the buttons on the monitor's control panel to navigate, select, and adjust OSD menu options.

  • Menu button - Press to activate the microprocessor-based OSD. When the OSD is active, press to exit an option.
  • Left and right arrow buttons - Press to move through the options, and to adjust a selected option.
  • Select button - Press to select a particular option.

Following is a list of OSD options.

Option Function
Contrast Adjusts to the desired contrast level.
Brightness Adjusts the black level of the screen.
Horizontal Position Controls the horizontal position of the image on the screen.
Horizontal Size Controls the horizontal size of the image on the screen.
Vertical Position Controls the vertical position of the image on the screen.
Vertical Size Controls the vertical size of the image on the screen.
Pincushion Adjusts the pincushioning on the left and right side of the screen.
Trapezoid Increases or decreases the trapezoid distortion of the display image.
Pin-balance Adjusts the curvature of the left and right sides of the screen image.
Parallelogram Shifts the top and bottom of the display images horizontally in opposite directions.
Tilt Tilts either the top or bottom of the display image horizontally.
Horizontal Moire Adjusts the horizontal moire level on the screen.
Vertical Moire Adjusts the vertical moire level on the screen.
Color Adjusts the amounts of red, green, and blue color to provide the color balances for the display.
Recall Returns most options to the original factory default settings.
Language Selects the language desired for the OSD. Languages available are English, French, Dutch, Spanish, and Italian.
Degauss Degausses the monitor.
Information Displays the preset modes available.
