EV700 monitor This display monitor comes housed in a plastic casework, which includes a tilt and swivel base. The image device is a 17-inch Invar shadow-mask, 90-degree color CRT. The monitor is designed for and displays a multiple set of input timings for horizontal rates between the limits of 30 kilohertz (kHz) and 69 kHz. The intended displayed resolutions range from 640 × 480 to 1,024 × 768.

This monitor is DDC1- and DDC2B-compliant. Microsoft® Windows® 9x automatically detects the type upon startup. The monitor type is set to either Plug and Play monitor (VESA DDC) or EV700 monitor.
