VX720 monitor This is the Gateway® VX720 17-inch Flat-CRT monitor with 16-inch viewable area. This monitor, using a pure-flat color Diamondtron CRT, is designed for, and displays a multiple set of input timings for horizontal rate between the limits of 30 kilohertz (kHz) to 96 kHz. The intended displayed resolutions range from 640 × 480 to 1600 × 1200. It is DDC1-compliant and DDC2B-compliant. Windows® 9x automatically detects the type upon startup. The monitor type is set to either Plug and Play monitor(VESA DDC) or Gateway VX720 Monitor.

Note: On a white or light-colored screen, thin black horizontal lines on the upper and lower third of the monitor's screen may be apparent. The lines are the result of tensioning wires that hold the CRT's aperture grille together and are not defects. The lines are not visible on dark or black backgrounds.
