The illustration provides a back view of the Gateway Destination® 31-inch monitor. To set up the 31-inch monitor, follow these procedures:

1. When installing this monitor, verify that the power to both the computer and the monitor is switched off.

2. Connect the female end of the power cable to the power receptacle on the back panel of the monitor and the other end to a grounded 120 or 240 volts alternating current (VAC) outlet.

The DL31-1 has a detachable signal cable with a male 15-pin mini D-sub connector. Attach this connector to the matching female 15-pin receptacle on the rear of the computer. This connection is usually marked Video on the back of the computer. Each connector has locking screws, verify that these are secured.

Note: This 31-inch monitor does not have a voltage selector switch that allows the end user to switch from 120 to 240 VAC. The monitor automatically adjusts to the power source being used.
