The 128 megabyte (MB) SDRAM DIMM Non-ECC, Non-Parity Module has 16 8- MB memory chips soldered onto it. There are eight in front and eight on the back.

The DIMM memory module is keyed so one cannot insert it incorrectly into the slot. Notice the notches on both sides of the DIMM. When the DIMM is inserted into the slot on the motherboard, the clips from the slot secure the DIMM into these notches holding it in place.
