This is the power cord that is permanently connected to the Gateway® LD220 DVD Player/Receiver. Connect the power cord to an available A/C socket. Unplug the power cord when you are not using the DVD player for long periods of time.

When disconnecting the power cord from the power outlet, always take hold of the plug, and not the wire, and pull free. Never connect or disconnect the power plug with wet hands, as you may receive an electric shock.

Power supply cords should be routed so that they are unlikely to be walked upon or pinched by items placed on or against them. Pay particular attention to cords located at plugs, convenience receptacles, and the point where they exit from the product.

Do not overload wall outlets or extension cords, as this can result in a risk of fire or electric shock. Overloaded AC outlets, extension cords, frayed power cords, damaged or cracked wire insulation, and broken plugs are dangerous.
