Running Select Drive Using GWSCAN 5.11

Note: Back up all data before proceeding.

  1. Place the bootable media containing GWSCAN 5.11 in the CD/DVD or floppy disk drive.

  2. Shut down Windows and restart the computer. GWSCAN automatically starts to the bootable media.

  3. From the GWSCAN 5.11 - Data Lifeguard Diagnostics main menu, press the UP ARROW or DOWN ARROW key to select Select Drive, and then press ENTER.

  4. On the Select Drive screen, press the UP ARROW or DOWN ARROW key to select the drive, and then press ENTER. This displays the status details and verifies which drive has been selected.

  5. Press the ESC key to return to the main menu to run the tests you want, pertaining to the selected drive.
