Q: How do I burn a GWSCAN 5.11 image to CD?

A: This document explains how, after downloading and extracting GWSCAN 5.11, you can burn the program to disc to create a bootable CD. The following steps explain how to create the bootable disc using either Nero Express or Power2Go.

Burn image with Nero Express

  1. Place a blank CD in the optical drive. Close any windows that open.

  2. From the Start menu, click All Programs, Burn a CD or Data DVD, Nero Programs, and then Nero Express.

  3. In the Nero Express window, click Disc Image or Saved Project.

  4. In the Open dialog box, browse to C:\Cabs\Gwscan511\Gwscan511.nrg, and then click Open.

  5. In the Image recording dialog box, click Next.

  6. The disc is burned.

  7. In the Nero Express dialog box, click OK.

  8. In the Burning Process dialog box, click Next.

Burn image with Power2Go

  1. Place a blank CD in the optical drive. Close any windows that open.

  2. From the Start menu, click All Programs, Cyberlink DVD Solution, Power2Go, and then Power2Go.

  3. In the Select a Burning Task window, select Disc Utilities, and then click Burn Disc Image.

  4. In the Burn Disc Image dialog box, click Browse.

  5. In the Open dialog box, locate the image file at: C:\Cabs\Gwscan511\GWSCAN511.iso, and then click Open.

  6. In the Burn Disc Image dialog box, clear the Perform write simulation check box, and then click Burn.

  7. The disc is burned.
