AV1/AV2 In These are the AV in connectors located on the rear of the Gateway® 30-inch LCD TV.

AV1/AV2 In

 Connect up to to two composite or S-video audio/video devices such as a VCR and a DVD player.
In this graphic, the upper row of connectors is designated AV1 and the bottom row is AV2, including the S-Video connector on the left. AV2 allows you to use either the S-Video connector or the yellow composite video connector. Use only one video connector for the AV2 connection. S-Video provides better picture quality than composite video
