There are a variety of audio and video (A/V) connections on the rear of the Gateway® 56-inch rear projection TV. The variety of connections allows you flexibility in the type and number of connections you can make to the TV. From left to right, the groups of connectors are as follows:

• Audio Out - Connects to an external audio device, such as an A/V receiver.
• AV 1 In - Connects to a composite device, such as a VCR or DVD player. Connect to either the S-Video or Video connector, but do not connect to both at the same time.
• AV 2 In - Connects to a composite device, such as a VCR or DVD player. Connect to either the S-Video or Video connector, but do not connect to both at the same time.
• Comp 1 In - Connects to a component device, such as a DVD player or set-top box.
• Comp 2 In - Connects to a component device, such as a DVD player or set-top box.
• RGB In -
  • RGB Audio In - Connects to the audio on an RGB device, such as a computer.
  • RGB Video In - Connects to an RGB video device, such as a computer.

• DVI / HDCP In and TV/Cable In -
  • DVI Audio In - Connects to the audio on a DVI device, such as a computer or set-top box.
  • DVI Video In - Connects to a DVI video device, such as a computer or set-top box.
  • TV/Cable In - Connects to a UHF/VHF antenna or cable TV.
