Q: How do I remove and replace the speaker covers on the front of the Gateway 56-inch Rear Projection TV?

A: The speaker covers can be removed for cleaning if they become dusty, or if they need to be replaced.

Remove a speaker cover

  1. The speakers are located in the lower front corners of the TV.

  2. Holding the outside edge of the speaker cover, swing it away from the front of the TV, and then lift it away.

  3. While the speaker cones are exposed, do not insert objects into the openings or otherwise touch the cones.

Replace a speaker cover

  1. Align the pegs on the rear of the speaker cover with the holes in the front of the TV.

  2. Press the speaker cover into place.
