On-Screen Display

The Gateway® 30-inch LCD TV features an on-screen display (OSD) that lets you adjust and save avariety of settings, such as contrast, brightness, and parental controls. The LCD TV saves the changes you make to the settings, even if you turn off the TV.

On-screen Display This is the Channel Setup screen.

Note: This menu is only available in TV mode.

  • Auto Channel - When this option is selected, your LCD TV adds all channels that have a signal to the channel list.
  • Channel - Use to change the TV channel.
  • Add/Del Channel - Use to manually add or remove the current channel to or from the channel list.

The OSD is activated, navigated, and settings are adjusted using the front panel control buttons on the TV. Refer to the following table for more information on using the buttons.

Action Button
Activate the OSD Press the MENU button.
Select a Menu or Menu Option Press the CHANNEL UP or DOWN button.
Open a Menu Press the SELECT button.
Adjust an Option Setting Press the VOLUME LEFT or RIGHT buttons.
Close the OSD Press the EXIT button.
