AV in connectors These are the AV In connectors on the rear of the DVD recorder. These connectors allow you to connect an external audio/video device, such as VCR.

  • Audio R and L - Plug right and left audio cables into these jacks.
  • S-Video In - Plug an external S-Video device, such as a VCR, into this jack.
  • Video In - Plug an external composite video device, such as a VCR, into this jack. While this video connection is good, S-Video is better.
Note: When connecting a device, use either the S-Video In or the composite Video In connector, but not both.
