Supported Video Formats

The following table provides information about the video formats supported by the Gateway® Connected DVD Player. The supported video formats depend on what version of the D5 Media Server software is installed on the computer networked with the DVD player.

* Transcoded files are video file types that can be converted from their original format to MPEG 1. These files are wrapped in the *.AVI wrapper format.
In addition, the AVI files must have an index chunk or they do not work.
