This is a closer view of the power button. Press it to turn the DVD player on and off.

When turned on, the LED built into the power button turns on and the player enters Standby/On mode. Press the POWER button on the remote control to switch between On (fully operational) and Standby (low power) modes. A blue LED behind the arrow buttons on the front of the player also turns on when the player is On.

When this button is off, all power to the player is off and the power LED turns off.
