Q: I have connected my DVD player to my TV and I have double checked my cable connections. Why am I still not getting video?A: If the cable connections are all correct, devices are powered on, and the correct input is selected on your TV, you may need to press the Video Out button on the DVD player remote control a number of times to select the correct video output setting. The setting you select depends on the connection type used between the TV and DVD player.
For example, if you have an S-Video cable connected between the DVD player and the TV, press the Video Out button on the DVD player remote control until S-Video is selected.
Note: In this example, the TV input source also needs to be set to to accept a signal from its S-Video port. Refer to the TV's documentation for more information.
The Video Out option on the DVD player can also be changed through its on-screen display (OSD). Refer to your model DVD player product information or User's Guide for more information about the OSD.
