Q: Why does my firewall software block the DVD player to the Gateway D5 Media Server?

A: This is a result of the normal function of firewall software. To overcome this problem, disable the firewall software or setup the firewall software to allow entry to the Gateway D5 Media Server. Gateway does not support this. Please see the documentation that came with your firewall software.
