Q: Why does my DVD movie stop if I pause for longer than four minutes?

A: This is a normal function of the DVD player. If you pause a DVD movie for about four minutes, the movie stops and the splash screen appears. At the splash screen, you can press Play and the movie resumes where it was paused.

Note: If the player is left at the splash screen long enough, it goes into screensaver mode.
