This is the area behind the I/O ports door on the front of the computer. From left to right, the features are:
- 3.5-inch drive bay with a portable media docking bay installed. The docking bay accomodates an optional removable Gateway® 2.5-inch USB hard drive.
- Microphone jack
- Headphone jack

Note: The removable Gateway 2.5-inch USB hard drive is designed for use with the docking bay. Do not attempt to use other 2.5-inch USB drives with the docking bay.
