Cautions
While this camera is connected to the computer or transferring the image data between this camera and the computer, do not perform the following operations. Otherwise, an error may occur, the camera and the computer may not function correctly, or the image data recorded on the CompactFlash (CF) card may be erased or damaged.
Do not:
- Turn off the power of the camera
- Disconnect the USB cable
- Rotate the function dial
- Remove or insert the CF card
When the camera is connected to the computer, the time for the auto power off function is fixed at 30 minutes automatically, regardless of the power supply you use or the settings in the SETUP mode.
When connecting the camera to the computer and transferring the image data between them, be sure to check that the battery capacity is full. If the battery power is low, the camera may be turned off while transferring data. If this happens, an error may occur, the camera and the computer may not function correctly, or the image data recorded on the CF card may be erased or damaged.
