Transferring recorded images and movies to your computer

Use the following steps to transfer images and movies from the camera to your computer.

Note: By design, no sound is recorded with a movie clip. You can however record audio to a still image. See your User's Guide for more information.

  1. Installing the USB driver (only if you have Windows 98)
  2. Connecting the camera to your computer

Step 1: Installing the USB driver

The USB driver on the CD is exclusively for Windows 98 and does not need to be installed if you have Windows Me, Windows 2000 or Windows XP.

To use this camera with a PC, install the Camera Driver first. After this has been done, the stored images in the camera can be moved to the PC and can be edited by an image editing program.

  1. Click the Storage Driver menu on the Autorun screen and the Welcome window will open. Click Next.
