Frequently Asked Questions Q: Why does the audio have static when playing back video recorded on the Gateway DC T50 camera?A: The Gateway DC T50 camera is a digital camera, not a camcorder. The microphone on the camera is primarily meant to be used when recording voice memos. The camera is capable of recording short videos, but if the microphone is enabled there may be static in the audio. To remove all audio from the video recordings, the microphone should be disabled. Please refer to page 39 of the user's guide for additional information regarding making movies, and to page 50 for information on playback of movies. Use the following steps to enable or disable the microphone:
