Q: What causes CD-R / CD-RW media to not burn at the correct speed?A:
- Ensure that the media supports the speed of the CD-R / CD-RW drive used. This is one of the main causes of this issue.
For example, you may have a 16X CD-R drive, but the CD-R disc is only certified to 8X. Following is a picture of a 1X to 16X compatible CD-R disc.
