- Turn off the computer, and then disconnect the power cord.
- Remove the right side panel.
- Remove the front bezel
- Remove the air duct.
- For more stability, you can lay the computer on its left side.
- Inside the case on the front ports assembly board, note the USB and audio cable connections, and then disconnect them.

- At the front of the case, remove the screw that secures the front ports assembly to the case.

- Remove the assembly from the case.
Replace the front ports assembly
- Align the front ports assembly on the front of the case. A tab on the left side of the assembly goes inside the case.
- Secure the assembly to the case with one screw.

- Inside the case, connect the audio and USB cables to the front ports board.

- Replace the air duct.
- If needed, stand the computer upright.
- Replace the front bezel
- Replace the right side panel.
- Connect the power cord, and then turn on the computer.
