- Turn off the computer, and then disconnect the power cord.
- Remove the left side panel.
- Inside the computer, disconnect all power supply cables from the motherboard, drives, or any other internal devices that use them.
Note: Creating a cable connection diagram before disconnecting cables can be helpful for reconnecting cables later.
- At the rear of the computer, remove the four screws that secure the power supply.

- Inside the case, slide the power supply toward the front of the case about one-half inch, and then remove it from the case.

Note: The CPU air duct may seem to prevent removal of the power supply. However, with patience and by pressing gently on the air duct, the power supply can be removed from the computer case.
Replace the power supply
- Slide the power supply into the case between the top edge of the case and the CPU air duct and about one-half inch from the rear of the case.
- Slide the power supply to the rear of the case, and then align the screw holes in the rear of the power supply with the holes in the rear of the case.
- Secure the power supply in the case with four screws.

- Inside the case, connect the power supply cables to the motherboard, drives, and any other devices that use them.
- Replace the left side panel.
- Plug in the power cord, and then turn on the computer.
