Ports These are the ports on the rear of the computer.

Item Port Description
A PS/2 keyboard port Plug a PS/2 keyboard into this port.
B PS/2 mouse port Plug a PS/2 mouse into this port.
C Serial port Connect a serial device to this port.
D Parallel port Connect a parallel device, such as a parallel printer or scanner to this port.
E VGA monitor port Connect a monitor to this port.
F Line out audio jack Plug powered, analog front speakers, an external amplifier, or headphones into this jack.
G Microphone jack Plug a microphone into this jack.
H Line in audio jack Plug an external audio input source, such as a stereo, into this jack so that you can record sound on your computer.
I Four USB 2.0 ports These USB ports are arranged in pairs. Each port is USB 2.0 compliant and compatible with USB 1.1.
J 6-pin IEEE 1394 port Plug an IEEE 1394 device, such as a digital camcorder, into this port. IEEE 1394 is also known as Firewire® or i.Link®.
K 10/100/1000 Ethernet (LAN) network port Plug a network cable or a device, such as a DSL or cable modem, into this port. LEDs on the right side of the port light when a connection is made and when the network is being accessed.
